What you need to know to book at the Hotel Alpbacherhof
Our winter season is from 09.12.2016 until 17.04.2017. In summer we welcome you back on 27.05.2017 until 20.11.2017.
Our reception is open from 07.30 – 22.00hrs.
Opening Times in the Nature Spa
- The Finnish Sauna and the Infrared Cabin: 11.00 to 19.00hrs
- Fitness room: 07.00 – 22.00hrs
- Indoor pool and relax rooms: 07.00 – 19.00hrs
- Outdoor pool in summer: 07.00 – 19.00hrs
- Outdoor pool in winter: 07.30-09.00 hrs and 16.00-19.00hrs
Beauty treatments and therapies: 09.00-12 noon and then again from 14.00-19.00hrs
Your Luxury ¾ Board
Your room and holiday package booking confirmation, when not otherwise requested, is per person per day including the Alpbacherhof ¾ Luxury Board.
Should you choose not to partake of any service offered and confirmed in your booking, there will be no financial recompense. Should you only wish to enjoy a B&B holiday arrangement, then the price difference is -€10,00 pro person per day.
As hoteliers we have to pay a tourist tax of €2 per person per day to the Tourist Federation. In all our room prices and holiday packages this tax is included.
Surcharge for a double room with single occupancy
There is an extra cost of €25 per day when a guest chooses to occupy a double room with single occupancy.
Children's prices only apply when sharing accommodation with two full paying adults. Children who have their own room enjoy a 13 % discount on the room price.
Booking Confirmation and Deposit
Your holiday reservation is confirmed on receipt of your deposit which is €200 per room booked. You can pay by bank transfer; BIC: SPRTAT21XXX, IBAN: AT44 2050 8003 0000 3449 or by your VISA or Mastercard. Please let us have your card number and the expiry date. Should you need to cancel your booking for any reason, the deposit is only returnable on presentation of a doctors certificate. (Please refer to our Cancellation Policy)
Want to Book a Particular Room?
Should you wish to return to a particular room, we shall do our best to fulfill your wish. Please understand that we can not always confirm a particular room or floor. The same applies to any table preference you may have.
Your room will be available from 14.00hrs. Could you please advise us if you are arriving after 19.00hrs.
Departure & Late Check-out
Please vacate your room by 11.00 hrs – late check-out is only available by prior arrangement and with a surcharge of € 30,00
Cancellation policies are in accordance with the Austrian General Terms and Conditions for the Hotel Industry (AGBH)
- up to 3 months in advance:no cancellation fee
- up to 1 month in advance:40% of the accommodation cost
- up to 1 week in advance:70% of the accommodation cost
- last week prior, or failure to show: 90% of the accommodation cost
Changing Your Dates at Short Notice
Should you change your arrival or departure dates at short notice, or in situ, your accommodation cost will remain as booked.
The hotel takes no responsibility for items left behind. There will be a postal fee for items returned.
Should you choose not to partake of any service offered and confirmed in your booking, there will be no financial recompense.
We ask for your understanding that your pet is welcome by pre-arrangement. Please bring their own bedding and food with you. Your pet is not allowed in the Nature Spa, Panorama Gardens, or restaurants. There will be a charge of €10 per pet per day. We will also charge a fee of 30 € per room for the final cleaning.
Nature Spa Packages and Treatments
Our Team will reserve the time slot for your preferred treatment, and will make careful and concerted preparations for the event. If you are not able to honour your booking, please do give other guests the possibility to indulge in one of our therapies. Please let us know at least 8 hours in advance; if this request is not complied with, the treatment will be charged. Packages and treatments confirmed during your hotel stay are considered binding.
Please book your treatments well in advance of your holiday in order to avoid disappointment, especially when already as part of a package. We can not guarantee your requested appointment.
If you suffer from any health problems or restrictions, please advise us of the circumstances when booking your therapy, or directly with your therapist at the beginning of your treatment. It is

Validity & Prices
We are really concerned that all contents of our homepage are correct and up-to date. But we do express the right over changes and errors.
A binding contract between the guest and the Hotel requires the acceptance of both parthies with a confirmation.
The Most Asked Questions:
What is the latest time I can arrive?
Arrival is possible until 22.00hrs. If you are planning on arriving later than 19.00hrs we need to know.
What do I need to pack?
In your room you will find a Spa Bag comprising bathrobe,swimming towel, hand towel, sauna towel and towelling slippers for you to use throughout your stay. Hairdryer and umbrellas are also in house. Hiking rucksacks, walking sticks and walking maps can be loaned at reception. Up do date magazines are in our Teesalon.
We have parking in front of the house and a car park on the East side. From Summer 2017 we will be able to offer additional parking in our new parking garage.
How do I reach the mountain from the Hotel?
The local bus stop is a couple of minutes away from our front door. In five minutes you will reach the mountain comfortably and without extra cost.

Can I bring my dog with me?
Naturally, your four-legged friends are welcome. There will be an extra cost of €10 per day. Please bring your pets own bedding and food with you. Dogs are not allowed in the Nature Spa, Panorama Garden and restaurants. If you wish to travel on the local bus with your dog, please make sure it wears a muzzle; this is a requirement of the Regiobus service.
Should I book my Spa treatments before arrival?
We advise that you do. We can not always guaruntee your preferred appointment, if you leave your request too long, but will do our best to comply.
